in technical problem solving - where a piece of
equipment is not performing reliably, and facilitation
- where the client-supplier relationship is not
working.
Support Management:advice on
setting up an appropriate support mechanism for
equipment after installation.
Consortium Management: applying
a successful formula for developing new equipment
by forming and/or running a group of lead customers.

Case
Study :
Camtion are working with a consortium of
members of Eastern Region Biotech Initiative
(ERBI) to develop an optimum all-in-one
service contract to cover a wide range of
scientific instruments.
The benefits of this are improved service,
cost savings and reduction of administration
work for the members. Camtion’s role
is to help identify the scope of service
and the commercial arrangements to maximize
the benefits delivered.
The pilot scheme will run to Q2 2008. Camtion
will manage the process with ERBI to ensure
the service is delivered to the required
standard and that the cost reductions are
achieved.
