Project Management

Project management is a core competency of Camtion. We usually deliver this competency through Consultancy or Training work. Where needed we can also deliver a more direct approach as either an Interim Project Manager or as a Coach.

Interim - we work at the start of projects to get them going until you appoint a project manager. We also deputise for, or assist project managers when needed - especially if a final push is needed to get things finished, or if they just need a break!

Coaching - we work with new and existing project managers to sort out any weak areas, especially in motivating teams and setting clear targets for successful project completion.

Case Study :
Camtion staff project- managed the redistribution, donation, sale by auction and disposal of £50M worth of scientific instruments arising from the closure of a top-ten pharma company's research site. Using our PAR process we made sure that the required tasks were completed on time and that all parties were informed of progress. The site was successfully cleared of instruments within the 6-month deadline for closure.
Camtion Ltd. was formed in 2006 by Dr Alan Crooks.

Camtion provides consultancy and project management services in the fields of automation and instrumentation.

In addition, it offers training in skills such as time management, team building, creative thinking and problem solving to deliver successful project outcomes.
